Every assessment includes the testing itself, a full written report, and a meeting with you to go over the results and what we recommend.
Parents tell us our reports are detailed and knowledgeable, but also clear and easy to understand. That's on purpose. You should walk out knowing exactly what's going on and what to do next.

Already had an assessment elsewhere?
We're happy to take a look. We review outside assessments, school data, and neuropsych reports to decide whether more testing is needed at all, and we collaborate closely with many neuropsychologists and teachers.
What our assessments are, and what they aren't
Our assessments are educational, not diagnostic. They measure the specific skills involved in reading, spelling, language, and comprehension, show where a child is strong and where they're struggling, and flag risk factors for dyslexia. That's exactly what we need to build the right program, and what most families come to us for.
A formal diagnosis of dyslexia or another learning difference can only come from a licensed professional such as a neuropsychologist or psychologist. Some families need that for school accommodations, an IEP or 504 plan, or their own peace of mind.
If a diagnosis would help, we'll say so and refer you to diagnostic providers we know and trust. We work closely with many of the Valley's neuropsychologists, and we'll walk you through what to expect: what the testing involves, how long it takes, and how their findings fit with ours.
And if you already have a diagnostic report, bring it. We use it alongside our own testing so you're never paying for the same thing twice.
